Businesses that use Google Apps not only get access to Google's applications, they also get easy access to some of the best business apps on the web through the Google Apps Marketplace. These Marketplace apps are easy to try and buy; once more, they integrate with Google Apps "out of the box," making it simpler for businesses to run more of their systems in the cloud. You can learn more about the Marketplace and watch a short video on how it works here.
For this highlights post, we decided to focus on the top seach term for installable apps in the Marketplace: CRM. The lifeblood of all businesses, customers come in all shapes and sizes, and have different needs when interacting with businesses. We’re excited to have 13 different installable CRM apps in the Marketplace that can integrate with Google Apps in just a few clicks, each with a unique approach to helping you manage customer relationships. And because things are easier to digest when they come in 3’s, we’ve taken the liberty to present them in 3 different groups: CRM, Social CRM, and Project-based CRM.

Thanks for the recommendations. I can't seem to find which one will best meet my needs, was hoping you could provide some insight. I run a therapy clinic and we are looking for an easier way to track patient progress (notes) rather than entering them all into one database. Any tips would be most appreciated!
I think i tried all of them during these last few weeks because we had to build a serious SOA for some of our customers.
Your recommendations are great but you should have added the integrations of those CRM with third party that are in the market place (e.g Mailchimp, freshbooks, ... )
Why isn't there a CRM app that records outbound / incoming mail in an account thread? Zoho comes the closest with inbound recording (pop)... but no outbound as it doesn't support IMAP. This seems to be the functionality I need to make a CRM workd
Is Google Apps certified(or whatever the proper term) to be used in a Medical field? With all the policies and restrictions and confidentiality required in Medical, I don't know if its even legal to use it or especially some 3rd party apps..
Which CRM Apps are best for a real estate website ?
Well the CRM Apps is proven to integrate sales, marketing and customer support functions that effectively maximizes your business interactions.
We have been searching for a google app- alike tool that will integrate gmail, contacts and projects. All of the mentioned CRM systems have the tendency only to sync one way-> to their app to create maximum lockin.
Does anyone know of an app that will just leave my contacts in a google doc? So I can add, order, improve these contacts, get them into my employees email (gmail), and then have a simple -search and browse- front end to this, leaving my contacts in the google doc?
We have been using insightly for our office and it works great. Louis Sola Evermarine
